Grab your sunscreen and get your kids ready for another fun park program playdate.

Froggy Park, Tenafly (Fenced)

Address: Foster Rd. and W. Clinton Ave.

 

From Westwood: Take Old Hook Road East towards Closter. Old Hook Road becomes High Street. Make a right onto Knickerbocker. Make a left onto River Edge Rd at Trinity Lutheran Church. Make a right on Foster. (Griffin Park is on left – we are going to FROGGY PARK!) Park is on left at end of Foster.

 

From Route 4: Take Hackensack Ave. North exit. Hackensack Ave. becomes new Bridge Road. Make left onto Washington Ave. at Amoco Station. Make right onto E. Main Street at Payless Shoe Store. E. Main Street becomes River Edge Road. Make right onto Foster (Griffin Park is on left – we are going to FROGGY PARK!) Park is on left at end of Foster.

Wyckoff Playground, Wyckoff (Fenced / Sunny)

Address: 340 Franklin Ave. at Scott Plaza
 

Route 208 North: Take Goffle Rd. (Midland Park/Ridgewood) exit. Take Goffle Rd. to traffic light (approx. 3/4 mile). Make left at the light onto Wyckoff Ave. Take Wyckoff Avenue for about two miles. Turn right onto Monroe, across from a church. You will quickly see Recreational facility signs on right; turn right onto Woodland.
 

From Westwood: Take Route 502 West (Washington Ave). In Ho Ho Kus, 502 turns left into Hollywood Ave. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto Franklin Turnpike. At light, turn left onto Wyckoff Ave. This is still 502 west. Follow into Wyckoff (road becomes Franklin Avenue). Go over railroad tracks (pass Starbucks) and turn left at municipal building – Scott Plz. Park is behind building.
 

From Route 17N (Paramus): Take Hollywood Ave/HoHoKus, turn left off exit and follow 502 west directions as above.

Leo Rosengart Memorial Park, Emerson (Fenced / Sunny)

Address: Sunset Pl. off Ackerman Ave.

 

From Route 4: Take Forest Ave. (Northbound) Exit. After 3‐4 miles you will pass a cemetery on left. Continue to next traffic light and bear right onto 4th Avenue. Go three blocks and make right turn onto Ward Street, which turns into Park Avenue. Park is ½ mile up road on the right side on Sunset

 

From Route 17 (Paramus): Take Linwood Ave. exit towards Westwood and Washington Township to end. Make left onto Pascack Road. At first traffic light make right onto Ridgewood Road. At first traffic light make right onto Lafayette Avenue. (Forest Avenue). At first traffic light make left turn onto 4th Avenue. Go three blocks and make right onto Ward Street, which turns, into Park Avenue. Park is ½ mile up the road on right side of Sunset Place.

Crestwood Park, Allendale (Fenced)

Address: Klomberg Dr. and W. Allendale Ave.

 

Take 17 North to "Hollywood Avenue ‐ Ho Ho Kus" Off Exit make your VERY first left ‐ it is like a triangle ‐ and go to the stop sign and make a left ‐ there will be brown sign that says "the Hermitage" ‐ this road is called 502 West. Follow 502 West ‐ at stop sign (blinking light) "Franklin Turnpike" make a right Go to first light "Wyckoff Avenue" and make a left (Note: you will still be following 502 West) Take Wyckoff Avenue about 1 mile to "Crescent Avenue" ‐ you will see a 7‐11 and a Walgreen’s. Make a right on "Crescent Avenue” Go about 1‐2 miles (you will pass Brookside School and Allendale Library and ball fields) make a left to enter “Crestwood Park”. If there is an attendant at the booth, just advise them that you are going to the Park not the Pool.

Frank Giordano Memorial Park, River Vale

Address: River Vale Rd. to Sunset Rd.

 

From Route 4: Take Forest Ave. exit and head north for several miles. After passing cemetery on left, bear right. Sign will say “To Emerson and Westwood”. Take this road (Fourth Ave.) to the end. Make a right onto Westwood Ave. Cross the railroad tracks. Bear left in front of Summit Bank. Cross over Kinderkamack Road and go a little over a mile to next light. Make left onto Rivervale Road. About a mile, just before Holdrum Middle School, make left onto Sunset Road. Go past the school and you will see park in front of you.

 

From Route 17: Travel north on Route 17 to Van Emburgh Ave. exit. (Exit between the two Linwood exits.) Go through one light and go to blinking light. Turn right onto Washington Ave/Route 502. Take this road into Westwood, across the railroad tracks and bear left in front of Summit Bank. You're now on Westwood Ave. Go through downtown Westwood, through the light at Kinderkamack. Go about a mile to next light and make left onto Rivervale Road.

Address: Oak St. off Lawlor Dr.

 

208 North: Take 208 North to 287 (bear left and follow signs for Oakland) Get off Exit 58 Oakland/Route 202. Make a left onto Route 202/Ramapo Valley Road. Take Route 202 less then one mile to “Oak Street” and make a right (you will see Ponds Reformed Church on corner). Take Oak Street – you will pass Lawler Drive and “Bert Williams Field” then make left after Field into parking lot for playground. Note: If interested, you can make a left on “Lawler Drive” from Oak Street ‐ there is a park there on the right for 5‐12 year old children. 

 

Route 17 North: Take to Route 202/Ramapo Valley Road and make a left. Follow Route 202 about 5 miles and follow directions above.

Take Rt. 17N to the Spring St./Grant St. exit. Make a right onto Spring St. After you make the right, stay slight right to remain on Spring St. Make a left into N. Island Ave. and then a right onto Church St. Park entrance is at the Ramsey Senior Center on your right.

Address: Doremus Ave off Rock Rd.

 

From South/East (Route 4, Route 208): Take Route 4 West to 208 North. Take Lincoln Avenue exit,,make left onto Lincoln Avenue. Go about ¼ mile; make a right onto Rock Road. Make a left onto Doremus Street (right before the big rock). Park is on the left.

 

From West (Oakland, Wyckoff): Take 208 North to Lincoln Avenue exit. Follow directions above.

 

From Route 17: Exit Ridgewood Avenue (Ridgewood): Pass Duck Pond on right. Turn left onto Maple Avenue (right before business district in Ridgewood). Turn right onto Ackerman. Go under RR trestle. Make sharp left onto Doremus. Park is on right.

 

From North (Allendale, Ramsey, Mahwah): Take Franklin Turnpike into Ho Ho Kus. Make right onto Maple Avenue (by Ho Ho Kus Inn). Turn right onto Ackerman. Go under RR trestle. Make sharp left onto Doremus. Park is on right.

 

From North (Wyckoff, Midland Park, Franklin Lakes): Take Godwin Avenue.

Garden State Parkway N to Exit 168 Washington/Westwood/HoHoKus. Bear right off the exit onto Washington Ave. Stay on Washington Ave approx. 2 miles and bear right onto Broadway in the center of Westwood. Continue on Broadway 3 miles and make a right onto Schraalenburgh Rd. Make a left onto Madison Ave. and then a left onto Whitman St. Follow Whitman St. to Hoover  Way to park close to the playground.
